Lead frontend engineering for an Angular-based enterprise platform. Own the architecture, lead a team of UI engineers, and drove the technical decisions the UI team builds against

• Own frontend architecture; set the code standards the UI team builds against
• Partner directly with the CPO to translate business needs into actionable tickets, then assign work across the team based on skill and capacity
• Lead the User Interface team: hiring, performance reviews, and growth planning - engineers own their projects and weigh in on architecture
• Drove conversations for safe AI adoption for engineers
• Driving a five-stage, AI-assisted testing rollout to widen automated coverage
• Built capacity reporting from sprint-level unplanned-work metrics so leadership sees timeline risk weeks ahead

Owned the platform's heaviest features and went deeper into the stack. Built the analytics, waveform, and search experiences end-to-end, established the frontend's observability story, and started writing backend services those UIs talked to.

• Shipped the platform's heaviest interfaces: an analytics dashboard, interactive waveform generation, a highly dynamic and configurable filter system, and search backed by a custom Solr-to-SQL parser
• Built frontend observability on Grafana and Faro - separating fetch time from response time exposed where the latency was actually hiding
• Wrote Java, Spring Boot, and Pekko services behind the UI using event sourcing, projections, and Project Reactor

Joined SohoSquared as a dedicated UI engineer on Talos. Shipped frontend features across the Angular platform and started establishing the patterns that scaled with the team.

Built UI features and infrastructure for an EdTech platform. Re-architected the auth layer, caught a critical security flaw in production, and built the video-upload pipeline and grading system instructors used daily.

• Caught and fixed a major security hole: sensitive data was being stored in a JWT
• Re-architected the authentication framework with Auth0 and optimized API calls
• Built the video-upload pipeline (Cloudflare → CDN) instructors used to publish lessons
• Built the grading system: automated-grade review for instructors, plus student progress views and charts
